For TEDx ALU Rwanda, I explored the relationship between typography, identity and place. The project required a visual approach that could feel connected to the TEDx platform while still having its own character. I developed custom lettering with the aim of creating something bold, contemporary and recognisably connected to the identity of the event. The project also sits closely alongside my broader interest in how African identities can be represented through design without reducing them to familiar visual stereotypes.
